Clan (-BS-) NCO Duties

What a Clan (-BS-) NCO is:

NCOs are the core to any great organization. They are the first line of supervision and help all should seek to gain information or bring issues to. As it has become apparent the amount of additional work that is taken on by our Admin Staff, our Clan is increasingly in demand of those that are willing to support and reduce the burden of tasks to be completed.

The Clan NCO Roles Are:

- Assist newer members in their familiarity with Clan rules and responsibility.

- Lowest level of management of problems that occur in the Clan, Ventrilo, and Any Clan (-BS-) Server. Then to report any major or unresolved offense to the BG Chain of Command.

- Ensure compliance with standards already emplaced by the Command and Staff and Battle Group Command elements.

- To ensure that the lowest member of the clan have a link to the BG Chain of Command.

Methods of Justification on Clan NCO Selection:

Clan Members are asked to contribute where they have strong suits. Many of us bring a wealth of knowledge that can be utilized to support initiatives and maintain our great gaming environments provided. We all do so on our own accord and in our free time. NCOs in the Clan are selected based on their comprehension and adherence to standards emplaced as core values of the Clan. NCOs support the guidance provided by their respective Battle Group Command, and the (-BS-) Command and Staff. Each NCO level shall be selected on basic criteria of:

- Maturity and soundness of judgment.

- Acceptance of responsibility.

- Responsiveness to tasking in support of clan issues, or initiatives.

- Ability to enforce standards in a mature manner without causing additional problems with promptness and discreetness as necessary without disruption of game play or Clan Operations.

- Level of contribution, feedback and support of clan functions. Post count is a consideration, but what is most important is the level of interaction with Public Players, Clan Members and others on the (-BS-) Website.

- Fully embraces increased amounts of responsibility and accepts burden of additional tasks that may be given.

These responsibilities posted are not an all inclusive list, and are by no means an attempt to force conscription amongst members. We are but one of a few great gaming clans that exist. To ensure our popularity remains high, and our values are kept at their esteemed level, the roles and responsibilities posted should serve as a guide. Leave no role unfilled and ensure all members are afforded the opportunity to gain more than just a gaming experience. Should you be selected to fulfill an NCO role, it is incumbent on you to understand your new role and either accept or deny your newly found rank and the responsibility it has associated.
