| I just got promoted to first sergeant and the next time I logged into battlefield it said current rank master sergeant next rank first sergeant. The progress bar is also full to my next rank. when I log into a server is says master sergeant as well. ?Anybody have any ideas? |

| It will update again my last rank took me over 3 weeks to get after I had the points. Any points you earn will count towards your next rank. |

| unless i'm mistaken i got double promoted. its first sergeant then master sergeant right? I went from gunnery to master. I got the promotion and the unlock. |

| U miss Engineer combat, AT combat, pistol combat and knife combat badge for the advanced rank of first sergeant. U'll stick with this rank till u make Master Gunnery Sergeant. U need to have your unlocks before u rank up. Ever wondered why u see so man colonels with over 3000 hours on Krkand? Those are the guys that can't fly even if u set em on fire.. they lack veteran vehicle badges and wont make Brigadier General without 'em. |

Yea there are serveral of us here, I need to put like 150 hours in toward armor, transport, helo, plane veteran badges. fly like crap. last estimate I saw was like 3000 days before advanncement. but boy when I do..... Id jump at least 2 if not 3 ranks. |

Flying like crap.. (quikly erases mental picture given) does ot really matter.
If u get in a bomberplane as gunner and now how to hit u'll make ur hours and brush up your fragrate as well.. Same for helo.. practise gunning tv-missile and become a trust wothy shot and any pilot will fight another one to have u in their front seat.. Those are usualy the guys in an airmap server that end up with a gold medal.. I even know wicked helopilots that have a below 1.00 fragrate since a good pilot does not go for the kill but for the line up for his gunner. I made my first veteran Helo as well gunning for other people. Get in a hopper (or jet) with me any time, me the wings, u the claws! And remember spotting is even more important than on the ground.. Fly gear dont duck into cover that well.. or actually does but will never get out of it... 
Hopper Rehab could btw indeed do with some more people now and then.. |

Sometimes, when you reach a certain score, lets say 20'000 points. There are maybe 2 or 3 ranks you can achieve depending on what badges/awards you have collected.
Even though the bar says 100% you wont actually rank up until the next score, say 50'000 points. |
