Section II
Chain of Command
Clan (-BS-) utilizes a Chain Of Command based loosely on the U.S. military. Members earn rank based on their willingness to support clan objectives and participate. The clan rank structure is based on the ranks used by the U.S. Marine Corps, just as in Battlefield 2.
Clan members with a rank of Second Lieutenant or higher are responsible for policy and rule enforcement. All members with officer rank are Server Administrators. They are here to make all member and guest experiences as enjoyable as possible.
All members are assigned to a Battle Group. There are two Battle Groups, the Reapers and the Vipers.
Each BG has a commander with a rank of Lieutenant Colonel and he has a staff of lower ranking officers to assist him in maintaining his BG. All personel matters should be addressed through your Battle Group Staff.
The Clan (-BS-) Command Staff is responsible for day-to-day server, website, and Ventrilo maintenance.
Section III
Website Forums
1. Etiquette
Members will be respectful when responding to a post. Members will conduct themselves professionally. Remember, at all times, you are a representative of the CLAN (-BS-). Lack of respect or professionalism will result in loss of access to the website.
2. Posts
- Members are free to post in any section of the forum that they have access to as long as they are proper posts.
-
No member is to respond in the Complaints Section of the forum unless they are directly involved with the issue.
-
No member shall respond to posts in the Recruiters Section. All remarks about applicants will be posted in the Review Section.
-
Immature, racial, excessive profanity, sexually explicit, or harassing posts will not be tolerated and will be removed immediately.
If there are any questions to what is proper or not, check with your Chain of Command.
Section IV
Ventrilo
1. Etiquette
Clan BS members will show respect to all members and donors. You will act professionally; immature behavior will be dealt with via Global Mute, Kick, or Ban.
2. Complaints
-
Clan (-BS-) members will not openly complain about hacking or cheating. If there is a suspicion of a public player not in Ventrilo, you can ask the Admin in channel or page an Admin to watch the player, but do not continually complain about the situation.
-
If it is about another player in Ventrilo, ask the Admin on Duty to pull you to another channel to talk about the situation.
-
Remember, Donors are not to be disrespected. Only Battle-Group Commanders and Command Staff can ban for cheating or hacking. Officers below the rank of Battle-Group Commander can kick them for disrupting the server.
3. Channels
Do not stay in the Fall in Channel. Go to the appropriate channel for the server you are playing on.
If you are not playing and in a gaming channel, do not interrupt other players communication while they are gaming.
If you are not gaming and want to have a conversation with another member, use the Mess Hall channel. Failure to comply will result in
Global Mute, Kick, or Ban from Ventrilo.
4. Conflicts
There will be no conflicts in a gaming Ventrilo channel between members. Conflicts will be dealt with in a private, civilized manner between the two involved via private message or a private channel.
If a resolution cannot be reached, the lowest ranking available officer will mediate the conflict. This situation will not have outside influences to antagonize the situation.
The members will remain in separate channels until an officer comes into Ventrilo. At that time the complaint will be addressed. Afterward the investigating officer will brief the Battle Group Commander and he will resolve the issue.
5. Conflicts with Donators
If there is a problem with a Donator, it will be handled by an officer only. The ultimate resolution will be determined by a Battle Group Commander and the (-BS-) Command Staff (-BSC-).
6. Ventrilo Setup
Members will set up Ventrilo in the following fashion:
